Ulrika Axelsson joined us as a Partner in Sweden in May. We have talked to her about her first months at Nordic Interim and her thoughts on Executive Interim Management.
With over 25 years of experience across diverse organizations, she has built her career on a solid foundation in management consulting. She spent 13 years at Centigo, including 6 years as Partner, and has gained international experience through roles at Business Sweden and Credit Suisse in the UK. Passionate about the human side of business, Ulrika firmly believes that effective talent management is a key driver of success – especially in today’s fast-changing digital landscape.
Why did you choose to join Nordic Interim?
“I was attracted to the company because the team gave a feeling of a high level of professionalism, and that the Interim Managers are top executives, also, the international environment was very appealing!”
How has your first time here been?
“It’s been great, the fantastic team here has really made me feel welcomed and I have had great support in ‘learning the ropes’ and earn skills of how to work professionally in our processes. My focus has been to re-activate my network and present Nordic Interim and my new role.”
What does your role as a Partner involve?
“I focus on building value for our clients, in terms of efficiently finding solutions to their needs for support from Executive Interim Managers.”
What do you see as the biggest advantages of Executive Interim Management?
“It’s an efficient way of finding high-level support for time-limited challenges. Our Interim Managers are really strong and senior and can quickly jump in and create value from day one!”
What are you most looking forward to in your role?
“I look forward to cooperating across the borders within Nordic Interim and Valtus to ensure that we are positioned as the number one player in the field of Interim Management.”
What does life outside of work look like?
“I spend as much time as possible with my five-year-old daughter and with my friends and family. Especially, we enjoy being in our house in Dalarna, where we love to go skiing and spend time outdoors in nature. We also love travelling together, and I especially enjoy learning about new cultures and languages.”
