Leading a change is never an easy task. While some employees see the benefits and get involved, there are always a few people who are worried about the new things to come. Here are some tips to help you get on the train!

1. Communication

Communicating regularly, transparently, and clearly is crucial in getting the organization onboard.

2. Why, when, how

Be clear about why the change needs to happen, during what period it will take place, and how it will be done. Your employees want to know how the change will affect them and their individual roles.

3. Set goals (and sub-goals)

Set distinct goals and break them down into realistic sub-goals. Celebrate achieved goals!

4. Listen!

Perhaps the most important point is to listen to the organization with humility. You can also get valuable input on what works and does not work in the organization.
